Sicilia

One of the most outstanding wines of this region is Marsala: it is produced in the surroundings of the port city, west of SICILY, from white wines of the Catarratto, Grillo, Damaschino and Inzolia strains. The Marsala must be topped, by legislation, with wine spirits and can rest for up to 10 years in oak barrels.
