We love wine and we are aware of the importance and how delicate it is to transport it and that is why we take real importance of the proper functioning of the shipping service. For this reason, we have created special reinforced cardboard boxes, with special inner cardboard dividers that create air chambers between the bottles to prevent contact from breaking. Delivery Costs and Options

First of all, remember that the standard delivery is FREE for orders over € 60 and shipments to Mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands. If you want to buy at the best price and save transportation, keep that in mind, Bodega Privada is the best option on the market! The following table will show how much the transportation will cost you, depending on where you live.

The rates detailed on this page include, in addition to the transport of the ordered products, their packaging in boxes specially designed to transport bottles, insurance against loss or breakage, as well as VAT in the territories where said tax is applied.

Important: Delivery prices for certain countries and areas: Andorra, Switzerland, Sweden, etc… include transport costs and insurance, but not tariffs, local taxes and other import costs, which will be borne by the customer at the destination. Outside Spain (where the flat rate will be applied regardless of the number of products chosen) and for larger quantities the system will calculate up to 100 kg (approx. 60 bottles) the transport price automatically. Pick up Option

If you live or pass through Madrid, near our warehouse (located in San Sebastián de los Reyes), you have the option of coming to collect your order personally. In this way, you will save transportation costs. By choosing this option, and after having validated the payment of your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that your package is ready to be picked up with the instructions to easily reach our facilities. It is important to receive this confirmation before coming to the store, otherwise the order may not be prepared.

The wine is very delicate. How do you carry out the transport?

Who manages the shipments?

We work with several transport providers: FEDEX, UPS, TNT, SEUR ... Depending on where you live and the number of bottles you request, we will send it by one provider or another. All are worthy of our trust and have passed quality controls to guarantee the minimum of incidents.

Scheduled Delivery

Depending on where you live, the shipping time may change. Please note that orders received on Thursday after 2:30 PM, Friday, Saturday and Sunday were not made until Monday. Overall (without being taken explicitly nor contractually), these are the shipping times:

- Mainland Spain, main cities: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, etc: will receive the order within an average period of 2 business days.

- Mainland Spain, other towns: will receive it in 2-3 business days from the acceptance of the order.

- Spain Balearic Islands: will receive it in 3 or 4 business days from the acceptance of the order.

- International delivery: will receive it in 3 or 4 business days from the acceptance of the order.

Notice that the time starts counting from 11 in the morning of the next working day to the confirmation of the order (or at the moment that BODEGA PRIVADA receives the income, for orders paid by bank transfer). During the months of high summer temperatures, we do not ship on Fridays.

Private Sales

In this case, the delivery time is indicated on the pages of the different campaigns and the order will be prepared at the end of the sale. If you mix different private sales and outlet store products, your order will be prepared and shipped at the end of the campaign, from which you have an ordered product, with a later expected delivery date.

At the time of purchase, you will be asked for different information in order to offer you the delivery service in the most efficient way possible. We would appreciate it if you provide us with the maximum information about where and how we can send you the order, at what time we can reach you and when. A phone number where we can easily reach you to coordinate the delivery service is the best option to consider. 

In the event that you are never home at a time compatible with our partner, we recommend that you request that the wine be delivered to work. However, there is the option of collection in store, you will only have to choose this option when processing your order and wait for us to notify you that it is ready to be collected.

Let us know if we need extra instructions to find your address or if you’d like us to leave your wine somewhere safe.

Broken bottles

The packaging is designed to avoid breakage and our partners are very aware of the fragility of the product, but it is possible that there is some breakage.

Please, always review the order in detail at the time of receipt.

Transport providers do not allow the return of merchandise if the customer opens it in their presence, but you can check the box from the outside and if you detect any moisture in the box, do not accept the order. Our partner will notify us of the incident and we will automatically send a new shipment at no cost to you.

Incomplete Orders and wrong wines

If we have made a mistake in the preparation of your order, it is so simple as to send an email to info@bodega-privada.com indicating your information and we will replace the order at no cost.
